I'm so excited about this award! My novel, Sweet Love at Honey Landing, won the Imadjinn Award for the best Historical Fiction Novel of 2019! (The Imaginarium Convention is touted as the best writing conference in Kentucky and the 2nd best in the Southeast USA. Held in Louisville, their juried Imadjinn Literary Awards given at their annual awards banquet are one way in which they recognize and celebrate top level talent.) My book was nominated anonymously, and I was so excited to win. To have your work recognized by your peers is the most wonderful feeling! The book's amazing cover was created by Samantha Fury, and it's always been one of my favorites.
Now, I just need to get on the stick and write the book's sequel! Who knows, maybe that will win an award, too!
